Caterham F1 Team

Caterham will be in Austria owner Tony Fernandes has confirmed after numerous reports in the German press suggested otherwise.

The team has failed to score a single point since it joined the sport, prompting Fernandes to issue a stern warning ahead of the 2014 campaign.

"If we're at the back I don't think I'm going to carry on," he said.

That led to rumours the team was put up for sale earlier this year. Those reports were however denied with the Malaysian businessman insisting they were looking for investors, not buyers.

However the latest stories reported that Caterham wouldn't be in Austria as they struggled to even make it to Canada due to a lack of funds.

Fernandes rubbished the news, writing on Twitter: "Caterham F1 will be racing in Austria. There is no question."
