Nico Rosberg has been handed a reprimand for what the race stewards deemed "reckless" driving during second free practice in Bahrain.

The Mercedes driver impeded Sergio Perez when he suddenly slowed, causing the Force India to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

The stewards reprimanded the German for slowing "unnecessarily and recklessly in front of car 11 between Turns 13 and 14."

Sauber's Esteban Gutierrez was also the subject of an investigation for impeding Felipe Massa, but no action was taken.
