Lotus have admitted that they were disappointed with Kimi Raikkonen after he and team-mate Romain Grosjean made contact during the closing stages of the Indian Grand Prix.
Grosjean went on to finish third but had to pass the Finnish driver to do so. At the moment of the move, Raikkonen took a defensive line and forced Grosjean to run wide.
Immediately after the incident, head of trackside operations Alan Permane got on the radio and used some colourful language to persuade Raikkonen to let the Frenchman past.
"Kimi, get out of the f***ing way," he said, to which Raikkonen responded: "Don't shout at me, a**hole".
After the race, Permane admitted he was disappointed with the way Raikkonen had acted.
"It was a little disappointing, to be honest. He knew his tyres were finished and there was no need to have a battle," he said.
"Romain was racing hard and I'm sure we'll have a chat in the office about it."
