Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has revealed that he has spoken with Felipe Massa about his recent form - which he warns hasn't been good enough to secure his future with Ferrari.

The Brazilian has scored just 16 points in the last five races, compared to team-mate Fernando Alonso's 61 which has included two podium finishes.

That has put Massa's future in doubt following on from a disappointing 2012 season too, which resulted in his contract being renewed for just one season.

Montezemolo says he will sit down with the 32-year-old to discuss his future, but added better results are required in the second half of the season.

"Felipe is a quick driver and a great guy," he told Corriere della Sera. "But in the past days, we were very clear with him; both he and us need better results and more points.

"Then, at some point, we will look one another in the eyes and decide what we do [about the fuuture]."
