Pat Fry will return to action this weekend at the Monaco Grand Prix following an operation to remove his appendix a fortnight ago.

The Ferrari technical director missed the Spanish GP when he was taken to hospital with appendicitis on Saturday morning ahead of qualifying.

He is currently recovering in Italy with his family, but will fly out to Monte Carlo on Friday morning. He will miss Thursday's opening practice sessions.
